Dear Chicers,

We did a great job last evening making our meeting a happy Xmas and New Year party!

Thank you logistic team for handing our agenda/EV form, decorating our house, for preparing snacks and drink for guests and people. I guess the team includes Hubert, Dancy, Coco and Melody

Hubert, thank you for dressing yourself as Santa Clause with twins ties and lead the logistics team to create Xmas atmosphere. As always, you encourage each speaker with your loud laugh and big applause.  Your twins ties is a creative idea, even though you are fined 500 US$. I will follow your practice when appropriate. Actually I believe mimicking other people’s creative idea improve my creativity.

Yolanda, Coco and Melody, you 3 guys grow very fast in CHIC in the past a few months. And indeed you contribute a lot to CHIC. I still remembered the impression you gave me after one meeting a few months ago when we talked about something about happiness. Yolanda read lots of books and good at analyzing. Coco has unique thinking. Melody is a happy bird. At that time, I believe you will be the future of CHIC. And in meeting yesterday,  you demonstrated your capability in 3 key roles of the meeting: TTM, GE and Toastmaster. Bravo! You are pillars of the meeting and you are pillars of CHIC.

Yolanda evaluated Gales speech by drawing a graph and analyzing how to make humor with expectation. I believe studying how to make humor is very important in our CHIC because we boast we are a humor club. I think we guys should attach importance to study and share how to make humor.

Coco is really humorous, wise and quick thinking. I see another Jennifer on the stage. You are classmates. Does your class major in Humor in your University? GE role is not easy and you handle it like a piece of cake. And you are quick thinker, you even think more quickly than quick-thinking Yucheng during your GE eveluation.

Melody is a happy bird. You always bring shining smile and  wonderful gifts to us. You are always willing to help people, which touched me.  Great job as Toastmaster and great topic gift. I envy your skills to choose creative gift.

Liu Xia, I noticed you replaced Cecilia to be the timer. You did great job controlling time. I am sorry that I used more time than allocated, because there are some many first-time guests. Do not worry your dinging me challenges me. I am a man of thick face and broad chest, and thus will not take things personally. I noticed recently you look a little bit nervous on the stage. But before, you are very confident on the stage. Please find the root cause and conquer your nervousness. You are an excellent speaker on the stage.

Rita, thank you for being camera guy in the meeting and in goodbye party for Charlie + Ivy. Yesterday you performed much better than your application speech. You are talented and motivated lady. Your English is pretty good in your application form. Spoken English is much easier than written English. You commands excellent written English and you will command excellent spoken English if only your keep taking roles and conquer your stage fright. Believe who you are, you will be a shining star. I am looking forward to your speech about music and teeth in which domain you are experts.

Lawrence, excellent and creative performance in table topic session. And glad that you attended meeting even without Jessie. You used to attend meeting because Jessi attend it. Now you can attend all by yourself. Thanks for give us 5 people a ride to Xi Dan. It is very kind of you. And you are creative and knowledgeable guy. You have not yet demonstrate your capability to full extent. You need more stage time to show your power of being a Leo.

George, as I said yesterday, your speech is full of humor and culture of your own style.  Congratulations to your first speech. It would be nice if you can deliver a speech on a monthly basis and take roles in every meeting. I am sure you will share with us more of your humor and wisdom. You are the steel man of our club.

Michael, you have make big progress to be confident on the stage. You speech is for us, but also for yourself to be more confident. From your speeches, I see your power and potential to be a great speaker. Hope you can win a VP position in next term. But before that, you can help with Scheduler and Sergeant at Arms. You will learn a lot in these positions and will pave the way to be VP next term.

Crystal, great job! Nice topics making us think the meaning of gifts and giving gifts to our parents and family to show our love. As table topic master, you can tailor a topic for the speaker. For guys who are single or not married, you can change a topic to them to make the first time speaker feel easier to deliver a speech.

Derek, my buddy, great job as the evaluator. I am glad to notice that you frequently take roles in every meeting.  And you are active to consult with people to improve your speaking and evaluation skills. Keep going and you will be a great speaker.

Lisa, great evaluator. I understand what is cool, calm and collected when you are on the stage. Your evaluation is really constructive. I noticed that your looks more shining than before. Is this because you have a dog with you? It said that having pet can make a person more healthy and live longer.

Jon, smart and playful boy, you are blessed genius, being yourself with humor, creativity and inner peace. Thank you for creating the wonderful CHIC web for us, this is professionalism. I am sorry that you have to slow down in front of a group of non-native speaker ?.

Tim, handsome and charming fashion policeman. You did great job as joke master, the most difficult role in the meeting. Have Hubert paid 500 US$ to you? You are an elegant gentleman with suits in the meeting and the steel man on your motorcycle. As 7-wolf advertisement said, man should have different dimensions, you are the excellent example. Glad that you come back to us recently, many Chicer doubt you are a Chicer ?.

Ludivine, you did not take a role in the meeting. You need conquer your fear to take roles in every meeting. Hurry up! I agreed that watching is also helpful but learning by doing is the quickest way to grow in the club. Being a big sister in the club, you should learn a lot from youger sisters like Yolanda, Coco and Melody who practice a lot and grow fast in CHIC.

Yucheng, you are a good CHIC firefighter in the meeting. On the way to the meeting, Gale asked you to be the Greeter because Lawrence was caught in the traffic jam. You accept it and bring fortune to honored guests with your magic microphone – a scallion. After the meeting, Hubert asked you to be the leadership evaluation writer because Jessi cannot make the meeting. You accepted and take 2 hours still writing it now in office. What a coincidence, I  backfill a couple to take 2 roles in the same single meeting :-)
